Ginna Heiden

Contemporary Abstract Artist

Ginna Heiden is an abstract artist whose work lends a love of structure with the easy rhythm of the Southwestern landscape. She began her art career in the early 2000s and spent many years as an educator before fully leaning into her studio practice. Her fascination with abstract art took hold around 2015, leading her toward both geometric and organic styles she continues to explore today.

Ginna paints primarily with oils or oil and cold wax on canvas and cradled panels, building layered surfaces that feel both thoughtful and intuitive. She's also been involved in her local arts community, including time as a gallery co-owner. When she's not painting, you'll often find her working in the garden with her husband, walking in her neighborhood, or traveling to visit family and favorite destinations.
