Marca Dickie

Over the years, I attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco along with three other colleges along the way. As I went, I picked up painting, sculpture, landscape design, interior design, ceramics, forestry, and photography. For 37 years, I ran my own specialty nursery growing Japanese Maples, along with commercial landscape design jobs. I spent 37 years designing catalogs, postcards, and designing trade show booths among my many chores.  

For retirement, choosing abstract painting seemed like a little something to keep me out of trouble. Little did I know how much work and fun I would be getting myself into.
