Marca Dickie

Over the course of her diverse creative career, Marca studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and three other institutions. She mastered painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, landscape design, interior design, and forestry.

For 37 years, she channelled this multi-disciplinary expertise into running her own specialty nursery which specialized in Japanese Maples. She managed commercial landscape projects and directing her own marketing design and trade show logistics. In retirement, she turned to abstract painting as a peaceful creative outlet, only to discover a vibrant, demanding, and deeply rewarding new artistic chapter.
